Designing my Own Fabric
Years ago I always wanted to design my own fabric, I was already a sewer. I figured how hard can it be...well apparently at first it was very hard. You have to make sure the seam/picture are seamless. Which I didn't understand. I went on Youtube and looked up designing a fabric. It's been so long that I can't find the person I learned it from but here's one that you might like "How to make a seamless repeating pattern."
Once you get the hang of it, it becomes easy and you'll start making different things from wallpaper designs, blankets, t-shirts, etc.
I started to find places to sell all my designs, once you make that design and download them to either Redbubble and/or Zazzle to name a few you'll see that those designs become pillow covers, shower curtains, phone covers, and many, many more.
Below are some of the online stores my designs can be located:
I hope that you find what you're looking for in designing your own fabric. I also hope that you don't give up on your dreams.
If you need or want more information, please do not hesitate to ask. I'm here to help you get to your dreams.
A lot of my designs were named after my family members. Like this one, this one was a request from my niece, Lindsey. She wanted sunflowers and butterflies. So I called it Lindsey's Bouquet.
Thank you and God bless.
