Peek-a-Boo Patterns/KnitFabric

Ok, Let me tell you about Peek-a-boo Patterns and KnitFabric because the same person owns both businesses.  Here are some of the  Peek-a-Boo Patterns that I've made:

Rio Racerback Tank Dress This dress I made for my granddaughter. I made a Mommy and Me dress for her mother to match hers from another pattern place I buy from called Blank Slate Patterns.  The Mommy dress was the Kirei Camisole which I altered to make the dress.  Sorry for the pictures, I'm still trying to learn how to take professional pictures.  Fabric: Olga's Closet

Marilyn Vintage Swimsuit

This one is the Marilyn Vintage Swimsuit, I wasn't too thrilled with the way it came out.  I think I missed a step but I know myself and I know I will try it again until I get it right.  Thank God, my husband was nice enough to get me a new serger and soon a cover stitch machine.  Not that you need these machines to make a better garment but it helps.  Fabric: Joann's Fabric Store

This is the Yukon Button-Up Shirt I was kind of scared to make this one but I think it came out okay.  I noticed my brother always wearing these types of shirts so I thought I would try to make one for him, with his favorite team.  I saw him wearing it a couple times, which made me feel good.  I plan to make more since I have 3 more brothers, and one for my husband and brother-in-law because they liked this one.
Fabric: Joann's Fabric Store

I could go on and on with all the patterns I used but we would be here forever 😁.  So I will name just some of the patterns I've bought and used and you can check them out at the website.  A lot of these were easily sewed, and some of them will have YouTube videos to help you.  Also, they have a Facebook group that will help you too.

Wait there's more! when you're at their website check out the fabric...if you're making items for kids their fabric is awesome.  You can check them out at KnitFabric.com too.

Ellie and Mac Patterns

If you're looking for patterns that have reasonable prices, look at Ellie and Mac Patterns.  They have beautiful patterns for kids, women, and men.  They also have YouTube sew-along videos that come in handy if you're having problems with the patterns.

Here are some patterns that I've made using their patterns:

I used the Tres Belle Wrap Pattern to make this maternity dress for my niece.  I made it by shorting the bodice and putting on a gathered skirt. I wanted to make it with the double-folded skirt thinking that that would make it wider but it wasn't working out for me.  I went back to the Facebook group and asked for help and they said gathering the skirt would be better which I did.  The only thing is with the gathered skirt I could have put pockets and I didn't I was still upset about the double fold that I forgot to add it.  Ugh. But she's asking for another one so I might just add the pockets next time.  Fabric: Joann Fabric Store.

This next one is the Be Brilliant Swimsuit Pattern that I used to make my great-niece and her sisters a bathing suit for their brother's baby shower.  I made it in zebra print because the theme it was zebras.  I thought it would have been perfect for the occasion, which it did.  All the girls had the same pattern but different colors of pants and a skirt.  Fabric: Etsy TiasSewingTidbits

Here is the Invincible Skort Pattern.  This one I made for my granddaughters and they loved it. They just recently added an Invincible Skort for women...go check it out. Fabric: Joann Fabric

Last but not least, Monday Morning Dress Pattern, my model is my Mom.  I love the way this came out and how beautiful it fits her. It was very easy to make too.  Fabric: Olga's Closet   What do you think?

Remember if you have problems with their patterns, please check out their YouTube channel for help.  Also, their Facebook group is helpful too.  That is where I got my help for the first maternity dress(first picture). I was so proud of myself and it looks awesome on my niece.  She asked me to make another. 😃
